SHD_0271_Pregnant_PE


80 samples from patients in 3 cohorts---healthy, suspected of pre-eclampsia, and diagnosed with pre-eclampsia.

SHD_0271_Diagnosed with pre-eclampsia

Inclusion Criteria
  • -Patients with confirmed signs and symptoms of preeclampsia by a physician including those with gestational hypertension and isolated chronic hypertension -Singleton pregnancy -Gestational age of 20 weeks to 34 6/7 weeks -Study blood sample collected within 24 hours of a standard of care measurements (ALT/AST, blood pressure, platelet, and urine protein). -Able and willing to provide consent
Exclusion Criteria
  • -Females under 21 years of age -Non-pregnant females -Females not having PE diagnosis -Pregnant females with undetermined gestational or trimester information -Any subject not meeting the inclusion criteria

SHD_0271_Healthy_Pregnant

Inclusion Criteria
  • -Older than 21 years of age -Females confirmed to be pregnant, 20 weeks 0 days to right before delivery -Singleton pregnancy -NO apparent sign and symptoms of PE -Able and willing to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
  • -PE Diagnosis -Females for whom trimester or gestational weeks are unknown -Any subject not meeting the inclusion criteria

SHD_0271_Suspected pre-eclampsia

Inclusion Criteria
  • -Older 21 years of age -Females confirmed to be pregnant gestational age 20-37 weeks -Singleton pregnancy -Evaluated for suspected PE -Able and willing to provide consent
Exclusion Criteria
  • -Multiple pregnancy -Ectopic pregnancy -Chronic corticosteroid and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory use
